We are thrilled to introduce the Dallas Young Cellist Project (DYCP) — a new initiative dedicated to bringing free cello education to underprivileged children across Dallas, Texas.
Our Mission
Access to quality music education can often be limited by socio-economic factors, leaving many talented children unable to pursue their musical potential. DYCP was founded to bridge this gap.
Through free weekly lessons, loaner instruments, targeted workshops, and performance opportunities, we give every child — regardless of their family's financial situation — the chance to discover the joy of classical music.
What We Offer
- Free cello lessons for beginners through advanced students
- Instrument loans — cellos, bows, strings, and accessories at no cost
- UIL & audition workshops preparing students for competitions
- Performance opportunities at community events and recitals
How You Can Help
The project is only possible with the support of the Dallas community. Whether you'd like to donate, volunteer as an instructor, or simply spread the word, there's a place for you in the DYCP family.
We look forward to welcoming our first class of students and making a meaningful difference in young lives through the power of music.
